When teaching ESL literature, the first thing to do is make sure you know your audience. As tempting as it can be to teach some great books or stories to your beginner or intermediate students, hold off when it comes to the following literature classics.
Therefore, some guidelines for eventuating literature review articles across approaches are suggested as a starting point to help editors, reviewers, authors, and readers evaluating literature reviews (summarized in Table 4). These depart from the different stages of conducting a literature review and should be broad enough to encompass most types of literature reviews.
